The organiser, the City of Hamburg, warmly welcomed the participants, who then had the opportunity to either participate in the session of Interreg North Sea Region or Interreg Baltic Sea Region. During the session of Interreg Baltic Sea Region the Joint Secretariat/Managing Authority introduced the most important financial topics such as eligibility rules and the audit and control system. This information was supplemented by a presentation of Katja Pollow (TOP LEVEL CONSULT), who shared her experiences and recommendations from the perspective of a first level controller. After lunch the Joint Secretariat/Managing Authority explained the reporting system of the Programme and introduced important reporting forms such as the staff costs tool and the partner report.
