25 Seed Money projects selected to support EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region
24 May 2017

The Interreg Baltic Sea Region Monitoring Committee selected 25 Seed Money projects during a meeting held in Helsinki on 23-24 May. Promising ideas presented by Seed Money project applicants will hopefully evolve into full scale transnational projects that will support the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.

The comparatively small Seed Money grants are meant to stimulate and enable preparation of new transnational projects implementing EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). The applicants may approach any funding organisation for support.

By selecting 25 projects out of 32 applications, the first call for Seed Money projects is complete. The submitted applications represent important topics from almost all policy areas and horizontal actions of the EUSBSR Action Plan.
