The workshop on target groups involvement & communication seminar consists of three parts:
- the workshop on target groups involvement
- the storytelling training
- the communication seminar
Please read carefully information below to select which parts of the event are relevant for you.
Workshop on target group involvement: is it for you?
Are you a project manager in a project approved in the second or third call of Interreg Baltic Sea Region? Then the workshop on target groups involvement part of the event is for you!
Exchange ideas! The aim of the workshop is to share ideas and improve practical knowledge how to better involve target groups beyond the project partnership and to bring project outputs into use.
In order to have a successful project and get your project outputs in use, you need to involve organisations and people who should use them – your target groups – already during the project. Success implies reaching out to stakeholders outside the partnership and ensuring that they will use the outputs after the project implementation.
Help us shape the future! Let’s identify challenges and try to find solutions together, including considering potential ideas to improve post 2020 projects.
What does it mean in practice?
More experienced projects share best practices with other project representatives. Two projects of the first call present their experience in involving target groups.
The participants discuss ideas and work on tools how to involve target groups more actively. Practical exercises focus on selected target groups, i.e. national authorities; local & regional authorities; business sector.
Communication seminar: is it for you?
Are you a communication manager in an Interreg Baltic Sea Region project approved in the third call? Would you like to get a grip on the nitty-gritty of communication in the project? Then the communication seminar is for you!
What’s the benefit for you?
The seminar supports you in your work by providing you with relevant information about the Programme rules and requirements. We help you understand your role as a communication manager, and the role of your project in a wider context of Interreg transnational cooperation. The seminar is an excellent opportunity to network and exchange knowledge and good practices among communication managers and with MA/JS staff. Last but not least, you can improve your skills in storytelling which helps you communicate about your project and its achievements better. See more details about the training below.
Get training in storytelling!
Do you know how to convincingly tell a story about your project and its results? Can stories be visual or maybe spoken or written only? How to develop an absorbing storyline? The participants of the workshop on target groups involvement and communication seminar are invited to attend the training on storytelling run by an external communication expert.
How to register?
You can register for the whole two-day event, or attend selected parts of it, depending on your interest. You are also invited to attend a getting to know dinner on 12 November.
We welcome up to two representatives per project in the event. Please note that the registration is based on a 'first come, first served' basis. The registration closes when all the seats are taken or not later than 25 October 2019.
