This year’s all-Russia Forum “Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia” will talk about new approaches in the public administration system, e.g. the one based on projects. In addition, it will tackle the importance of the coordination among the national goals and regional strategic planning. The headline of this Forum is “National goals and territorial impacts”.
Interreg Baltic Sea Region will be present with its own session “Russia-EU transnational cooperation results and perspectives”. We will talk about our achievements on creating balanced partnerships in the region that tackle challenges going beyond the borders. We will give some examples from 40+ projects with more than 500 partner organisations where Russian partners play an important role. A few more projects with active Russian participation will still come this year.
Furthermore, our projects with Russian partners will share their know-how during various sessions of the Forum. Among others, they will highlight new green business opportunities and new city planning solutions developed through transnational cooperation.
Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme and projects will illustrate how partner organisations can support territorial development, solve joint challenges and build trust while developing joint solutions in our region.
The Interreg Baltic Sea Region session is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Leontief Centre and the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat of the Programme.
