All-Russia Forum “Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia” is a platform for discussing methods and tools for strategic planning as well as analysis on the most important issues of strategic plans and complex projects’ implementation in urban development of the Russian Federation. For many years the Forum hosts discussions on international cooperation. The headline of this Forum is “Stakeholders of the Future”.
This year Interreg Baltic Sea Region will be present at the session “Innovative, accessible and sustainable Baltic Sea region: Russia-EU macro-regional cooperation stakeholders”.
Russian organisations joined Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects as full partners for the first time since 2008. This session at the Forum will bring to the spotlight a few projects with Russian partners. Project partners from Russia will share their first achievements gained through transnational cooperation in various topics (e.g. energy efficiency, waste water management, urban transport planning, and SME business development support). Projects’ stakeholders – representatives of business, research and scientific institutions, NGOs, and public authorities – will share their insights on what benefits transnational cooperation projects bring for them, too.
In addition, new macro-regional cooperation opportunities within upcoming calls of Interreg Baltic Sea Region as well as other funding sources will be presented.
The session is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Leontief Centre and the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat of the Programme.
