The Programming Task Force is a task force of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region's Monitoring Committee. It has been set up to discuss details of developing a future Interreg programme in the Baltic Sea Region (post 2020).
Each EU country in the Programme area, Norway and Russia as well as Belarus sends up to three delegates each as done for the Monitoring Committee. Representatives of the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat as well as of the European Commission participate in the Programming Task Force as advisors.
In 2019, the Programming Task Force meetings are chaired by the Monitoring Committee's Chairman from Germany.
During this 2nd meeting, among others, the following topics are on the agenda:
- EU legislative framework post 2020
- external support to developing a future Programme
- potential future project types
- timeline and set-up of the programming process
Participation is open to members of the Monitoring Committee and their deputies.
