Closed: first call for project platform applications

Interreg Baltic Sea Region closed the first call for applications for project platforms. The main aim of project platforms is to increase the impact of Interreg Baltic Sea Region's and other EU-funded projects in the area. Project platforms shall ensure a more intensive use, better durability and transferability of the projects’ outcomes.

Applicants planning to develop a project platform were asked to consult their idea with the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat (MA/JS). Only if a platform idea was in line with the concept of this instrument, applicants were invited to submit full applications to the MA/JS. The Monitoring Committee selects project platforms for funding.

The deadline for submitting full applications via the online system BAMOS was 28 February 2018.

Obligatory consultations based on submitted project idea form (PIF)

  • Acceptance of project idea forms (PIFs): September 2017 to 15 January 2018
  • Consultations with the MA/JS staff: September 2017 to March 2018


  • Submission of an application form via online system BAMOS: by 9 April 2018. 
  • Selection of projects for funding: June 2018

1. Obligatory consultations based on submitted project platform idea form

Lead applicants are requested to submit a project platform idea form which briefly describes the project platform's strategic relevance, main outcomes, core activities and the planned partnership. The completed project platform idea form should be sent to Based on submitted project idea forms, MA/JS will organise a consultation, which is a prerequisite for obtaining access to an online application system (BAMOS).

2. Submission of full application

After receiving feedback from the MA/JS during consultations and obtaining access to the online application BAMOS, lead applicants are requested to complete and submit the application by 28 February 2018 at the latest.

• Signed application (identical to the digital version)
• Partner declarations of all project partners including lead applicant (original or copies)

Optional documents:
• Scanned letters of support from associated organisations
