The Monitoring Committee will meet to decide about the concept notes submitted in the 1st call for projects and Communication Strategy for the Programme. Selected project will be invited by the MC to submit complete project applications.
The Monitoring Committee (MC) is the decision making body of Interreg-Programmes. It discusses and approves all Programme documents and selects projects for funding. Each EU country in the Programme area and Norway as well as Russia and Belarus sends up to three delegates to the MC. The Russian and Belarusian delegations will have an observer status until the Financing Agreements, as pre-requisites for full participation in the Programme, will have been signed. Representatives of the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat as well as the European Commission participate in the Monitoring Committee as advisors. The Monitoring Committee meets two to three times per year.
