This section provides specific information about the second call for applications of Interreg Baltic Sea Region. All specific objectives and priorities of the Programme are open for applications. The projects are selected for funding in a two-step application procedure.
Step 1: Concept notes

- Selection of concept notes: 14 September 2016
Step 2: Application
- Call open, step 2: 14 September 2016 – 17 January 2017
- Selection of projects for funding: 23-24 May 2017
The timeline might be adjusted depending on the number of concept notes received.
Step 1: the concept note (closed, assessment ongoing)
In step 1, each lead applicant is asked to submit a concept note – describing the project’s strategic relevance, main outcomes, core activities and the planned partnership. The concept note has to be submitted in electronic (pdf) version not later than 1 June 2016 firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 2: the application form
Applicants whose concept notes are selected by the Monitoring Committee on 13-14 September 2016 need to prepare complete project applications by January 2017. The content of the application form has to be based on the earlier developed concept note and submitted using the online application system BAMOS. The Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat (MA/JS) invites the applicants of the selected concept notes to a project development seminar. They take place on 12-13 October 2016 in Berlin and on 19-20 October 2016 in Riga.
