Regular project calls

When applying for funds, applicants follow a two-step approach. During the first step, the project idea owners submit a concept note. If the concept note is accepted by the Monitoring Committee (decision making body of the Programme) the applicant will be invited to develop the project idea further and submit a complete application form.

The two-step approach is a new feature of the Programme during the period 2014 to 2020. It is intended to save resources for all parties: applicants, assessors and decision makers. Resources to compile and assess concept notes are significantly lower than for full-fledged applications. The rate of successful applications is expected to increase considerably. The duration of the application procedure from the call for concept notes through to the start of projects is expected to be approximately one year.

Check what projects are already funded

Before you start developing your project idea, check what projects were already funded (project databases 2007-2013 & 2000-2006), their main outputs (output library 2007-2013) and schievements.
